My Perth family photography is lovely & fun; suitable for laid-back families looking for relaxed storytelling sessions in Perth, Western Australia.

I capture a combination of individual portraits, family groups and photojournalistic shots of children at play during our time together. You wil be sent a questionnaire before our shoot so you can let me know any special requirements or particular shots you are looking for.

How it all works…

BOOKING YOUR PHOTO SESSION

It’s always best to book your photo session in advance, especially if you have a specific date in mind. It’s also important to take photo selection and editing into account when booking your family shoot. I will have all your images back to you within 2 weeks of your shoot.
THE DAY OF THE SESSION

Now it’s all about relaxing and enjoying the experience. I will direct you on how to pose and ensure that you get the best possible shots. I’ll take a mix of lifestyle, candid and posed shots throughout the session
YOUR IMAGES

I work on an all-inclusive basis so you can download all digital images within your gallery and share with family & friends straight away

My outdoor family sessions are set in beautiful locations all over Perth. I have a location guide with my favourite spots but if you have somewhere special in mind just let me know. I shoot my outdoor sessions during the beautiful golden hour before sunset. You can also opt for “in-home” family sessions to take away any uncertainty in the weather
I am from Scotland so I am VERY used to working in all types of weather conditions! The only time I will reschedule a session is if very heavy rain or strong winds are forecast. I do ask you to be flexible on the day of the shoot as we sometimes may alter timings slightly to avoid a shower or two!
I don’t restrict you to a strict colour palette but it’s always good to dress appropriately for the weather/season we are shooting in so you feel as comfortable as possible during the shoot. A lot of my clients like to go for variations of neutral tones as standard but if you enjoy wearing bright colours and patterns then please do! Your personality must shine through in the images!
Yes! My custom lifestyle shoots are all-inclusive so you will receive full-resolution, edited digital files with printing rights within 14 days of your shoot date. All prints are hosted in a private gallery where you can view, share and download your images.
Yes, the more the merrier. I LOVE photographing extended families and it makes for a really affordable option for a large group as I give you the whole gallery! Read that as no squabbling between large families about which images to select after your shoot! I give you immediate family images and group images for one fixed price. Too easy!

I want to capture your family’s personality – snuggling, walking hand in hand, laughing and playing (and everything in between). I provide gentle prompts and guidance but want you to have the freedom to be completely yourself. I won’t force you into any awkward poses or make your child “smile for the camera” or even look at the camera if they don’t want to. My aim is to create memories that will be displayed with pride in the home
